Last week I wandered down to the basement to grab an album to play. For mysterious reasons I grabbed The Men Who Loved Music by The Young Fresh Fellows. It had been YEARS since I listened to this one and I immediately regretted that time lost. A wonderful record and it got me thinking about Scott McCaughey and his pretty remarkable career. So this week my featured artist is Scott McCaughey represented by three of his bands. I am delayed in writing about an event from this past weekend, but there are a few songs in tonight’s set that are rooted in that event in Virginia. I also was scanning through my iTunes collection in the basement and was struck by how many tunes I have by people named Paul so I threw together a set of tunes by four of my favorite Pauls (McCartney, Westerberg, Weller, and Simon) I think it’s kind of a fun set.
