Tonight’s show pays tribute to a couple of my favorite internet music fans – Marc Fagel who has a remarkable blog ( https://www.jitterywhiteguymusic.com/ ) and a GREAT book of the same name and my great twitter (and now BlueSky) pal Steve Johnson who goes by the tag luvthemats. Marc has been compiling an amazing list of his facorite songs and tonight’s opening trio of songs are from recent posts of his. Steve reminded me of the amazing Lloyd Cole song that was on this set tonight. Thanks to both of these great pals. Tonight’s feature artist is, sort of, The Feelies. On the most recent Bandcamp Friday I purchased a Glenn Mercer solo album and I paired that with a couple of songs by Feelies offshoot bands The Trypes and Yung Wu.
